About this place
At Daiju, teppan-grilled meat and seafood can be paired with handmade raisin butter and red wine. One diner particularly enjoyed the raisin butter, finding it unlike a shop-bought version, and said it went well with red wine. Though teppan-yaki is the focus, a guest also praised the raw dishes. The menu includes carpaccio of sea bream and salmon, teppan-grilled Okayama oysters and steak of premium wagyu hiuchi, a cut from the inner thigh.
The menu also ranges beyond teppan-yaki, with okonomiyaki, the house speciality tonpei-yaki and garlic rice. That makes it possible to keep to teppan dishes through the end of a meal. One diner said the garlic rice made a particularly memorable final dish.
Lunch sets are available, and one guest who ordered the hamburger lunch said the portion was filling. Daiju is in Sanmeicho, Abeno Ward, Osaka; booking is recommended for dinner.
